Have you succumbed to marketing claims of beauty creams and vitamin supplements? Fruits and vegetables are much more effective in helping you stay naturally healthy as compared to beauty creams and supplements which are full of chemicals and created in a lab rather than by nature.

Our favourite fruit in the summer season is Jamun!

  • Jamuns have high levels of anthocyanins and ellagic acid. Anthocyanins give Jamuns the deep purple / black colour that we love
  • Anthocyanins and ellagic acid are antioxidants which reduce free / oxygen radicles. Free radicles lead to ageing and diseases such as cancer – reducing them is important for good health and to remain youthful!
  • These compounds in Jamun are much more effective in reducing free radicles than vitamin pills - ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and Trolox (Vitamin E) recommended by pharma industry
  • Further, Jamuns are anti inflammatory, help in fighting obesity and enhancing memory
  • Storage of Jamuns lowers anthocyanins and reduces taste. So pluck Jamuns from a tree (or buy fresh) and eat straight away for excellent health!
